Sandra Spencer interviews Andy Morrison of Xtract Energy Plc (AIM:XTR)

Comment

  1. I thought Andy Morrison interviewed very well on his behalf but poorly for shareholders of XTR. He mirrors a politician in my view, hesitating, er er er & we we we we’ve etc.
He did not mention the problems XTR have had in Turkey recently that have seen the share-price tank by 50% in the last couple of months.

  2. Can’t see the point in having interviews like this if they don’t even ask the difficult questions which shareholders are concerned about!

It seems to me that the KEY issue for Xtract at this time is how long that can continue to operate at current cash burn rates before they run out of money altogether! They already seem to have sold everything they can & are fast running out of cash, where do they go from here?

None of these financial issues were even addresssed in the interview?

  3. Well it appears they have got their funding sorted out. I would suggest they have now sufficient funds to bring a number of their investments to fruition (particularly as there are also the warrants). With 2 producing oil wells before Easter and possibly one gas well Extrem will be self funding. News on Elko also before May. Xtract will be a much bigger company by this time next year and will have capitalised in real terms a number of assets by bringing them to recognised markets.
