    Completion of sale of Philippine nickel assets



    Further to the announcement of 23 May 2008, re the sale to European Nickel plc of various shareholdings representing the Company's interest, direct and indirect, in nickel assets in the Philippines, the Company advises that all conditions precedent in 
the Agreement have been met.



    Accordingly, the Agreement was completed in London on Friday 27 June 2008 and the sum of US$39,005,832, representing the sale proceeds to the Company, has been paid into an escrow account pending settlement, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement,
expected to occur early in October 2008.
